If you have a laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed, bring it with you.

ALEX FULTON is a graphic designer and illustrator living and working in Richmond, Virginia. As a print-based designer, she loves using many combined techniques such as drawing, collaging, painting and digital manipulation to create her work. Some of her favorite things are reading, fashion, cats, gardening, bugs, cooking, small rodents, video games, dogs and come to think of it, pretty much any animal of any kind.

ED TEPPER has 15 years experience as a photographer hobbyist and recently made the switch to professional. His photos have won awards and have been shown at local art shows.

An introduction course to learning the basics of DSLR Photography (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance, lens coverage, touch on flash photography); Cover basic rules of photography (Rule of Thirds, Golden Ratio, Composition, etc.); Discussion of the camera itself (function, settings, difference in terminology between camera brands); Talk about long exposure photography & practice long exposure shots. Bring your camera, all other materials will be provided. 

BEN WHITE is a local portrait and wedding photographer, operating out of his studio in the Fan District. He balances his work between freelance photo shoots and working for Richmond Camera.
